CWU WILDCATS ON “ELLEN” TODAY

The praise for the Central Washington University fastpitch softball teammates Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace just keeps growing.

This afternoon, the two Wildcats, along with Western Oregon University’s Sara Tucholsky, will appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The three have all gained national attention after an April 26 game between the two schools in which Holtman and Wallace helped rival Tucholsky — who’d injured her knee after hitting her first home run ever — round the bases and keep her homer on the books.

“Ellen” airs at 4 p.m. on KNDO, channel 23.
